things i've made: a new hat!

I made a nice long scarf with this yarn, and I was getting really tired of making the scarf so i thought it might be kind of nice to bring a matching hat into this world. i was wrong. making this hat was literally the ninth circle of hell. specifically this hat with this particular kind of yarn with those little wooden circular needles. the yarn fibers kept on getting caught on the needles and there was just so much friction and... i'm just glad it's over

here is what i did so everybody knows not to repeat my mistakes:

• lion's brand homespun yarn (plantation color)
• this pattern (link here)
• size 8 (?) 16" circular needles for ribbing
• size 10.5 16" circular needles for hat body
